This is a project I started a while ago and finally decided it was time to finish. It’s a nightborne character from World of Warcraft with an outfit based on the heritage set from the game.
In this project I wanted to expand on my views of 3D and dip my toes into other aspects of the discipline, such as creating my own rig and making my own shader in order to have rim light on the character.
Most of the textures in the scene is hand painted but I utilized Unitys global volumes and light maps to give it some more atmosphere and depth.

Image the character and scene is based of, and a quick sketch along with first rendition of the scene to get an idea of how to present the character. First image is part of a set of illustrations I made in 2023.
